Home » Australian Government » Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships – Australian Government – 2023/2024

The two Australian Domestic and International students can submit applications for the Australian Government Research Training Program 2023-2024.

Universities manage this Research Training Program (RTP) with the Department of Education, Skills, and Employment. Applications for RTP scholarships must be submitted directly to the participating universities. Each University has its application and selection process. Candidates must research their chosen institution now to determine how to apply to an application under the RTP scheme.

The RTP offers block grants on a calendar-year schedule to the HEPs to help both international and domestic students pursuing Research Doctorate and Research Master’s degrees, which are also known as higher degrees through the research (HDRs) through the government of Australia.

RTP scholarships are open to students from both countries enrolled in an approved HDR program at one of the Australian HEP. RTP scholarships are offered for a maximum duration of two years for research master’s or research doctorate; the scholarships are provided for a minimum of 3 years and up to a maximum period of four years.
