MSc in Statistics – UoK – 2023
Master of Science in Statistics is offered by the Department of Statistics & Computer Science of the Faculty of Science of the University of Kelaniya. The Masters’s program structure allows selecting options ranging from the more theoretical aspects of Statistics, including a module on research topics, to those which cover material focused on real-world applications of Statistics. The programs are designed so that the students have the opportunity to learn the statistical theories as well as the applications arising in the industry.
Entry Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Honors degree in Statistics or Bachelor of Honors degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/ Information Technology with Statistics as a subject
or
- A Bachelor’s degree with Statistics as a subject,
or
- Any other equivalent qualification is acceptable to the Senate of the University.
