Master of Environment & Regional Development – UoC – 2023
The Department of Geography is calling for applications from qualified candidates for the Master of Environment and Regional Development, up to 15th May 2023.
This programme provides candidates with a comprehensive theoretical and practical background in the field of Environmental and Regional Development. Further, this programme provides an opportunity for candidates to follow a Master of Philosophy (MPhil.) Degree in Geography after the successful completion of the Master’s degree.

- Duration – One Year
- Classes – Weekends Only
- Mode – Hybrid Mode
- Medium – English
- Course fee – LKR 120,000 / US$ 2200
- Application fee – LKR 2000/US$ 30
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University (Including 30 Credits in the relevant subject or with prior learning / work experience equivalent to 30 credits in the relevant subject.
OR
- A qualification in the relevant subject area. (Including 30 Credits in the relevant subject or with prior learning / work experience equivalent to 30 credits in the relevant subject.)
OR
- Completion of NVQ level 7 as determined by the Faculty board and senate.
AND
- A good working knowledge in English.
