- A special degree ,BA (Hons) in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya OR
- Completed the “Certificate Course in Psychology and Basic Counseling Skills” offered by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya. OR
- Equivalent professional qualification in counseling, acceptable to the Department of Psychology as per the university regulations pertaining to the Certificate Course in Psychology and Basic Counseling Skills.
COURSE STRUCTURE
- Human Approach.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy.
- Counseling Skills and Process Assessments, Evaluations and follow ups.
- Addiction Counseling.
