Bachelor of Arts (For Foreign Candidates) – BPUSL – 2024
Applications are invited from interested candidates for the Bachelor of Arts (For Foreign Candidates) 2024, Offered by Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
- G.C.E Advanced Level Examination with Pali, Buddhism and any other subject.
- Any equivalent examination to G.C.E Advanced Level Examination which should have been certified by the relevant Ministry / High Commission / Embassy.
- Diploma in Buddhism/ Pali conducted by the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification.
- Any other qualification approved by the Senate of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka.
Note: Those who do not have English and Pali / Sanskrit knowledge in admission are offered to follow one year Intensive Course in English and Pali / Sanskrit in advance to follow the Degree.

- Buddhist Philosophy / Buddhist Culture / Religious Studies and Comparative Philosophy / Buddhist Phycology and Counselling / Community Leadership / Archaeology / French / Japanese / Korean / Chinese / Hindi / Tamil
- Preliminary Course in English and Buddhist Counseling Course
- Students are offered the certificate course in Hindi, Tamil, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and French, free of charge.
DURATION
- Intensive Course in English, Pali/Sanskrit + Bachelor of Arts (General) – 01 Year + 3 Years
- Bachelor of Arts (General) – 03 Years
