Entry Qualifications
For M.Phil (leading to PhD)
- Two Year Master’s Degree in Education (SLQF 10) from a university or institution recognized by the UGC with a substantial research component.
- Master of Education Degree (SLQF 9) from a university or institution recognized by the UGC.
- Bachelor of Education Degree (SLQF 6) from a university or institution recognized by the UGC with First or Second Class (Upper Division).
- Bachelors’ Degree (SLQF 5 or 6) from a university or institution recognized by the UGC with First Class and Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
Preference will be given to those who have research experience/publications in the field of Education
For Direct entry to the PhD
1 . Master of Philosophy Degree in the field of Education (SLQF 11) of not less than two years duration.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a Master’s Degree of not less than two years with at least one year of research component related to Education.
